Trip Ideas

Not sure how to fill your days around the festival? Here are a couple of ideas to inspire you.

The Weekend Warrior

Friday — Arrive & First Concerts

Arrive in Reus, drop your bags, and head straight to the old town for a classic vermut at one of the historic bars on Plaça del Mercadal. Stroll past Reus's Modernisme facades and grab an early bite — then head to Castellvell del Camp for the evening concerts. The festival starts later on Friday, giving you time to ease in. No need to worry about dinner — we have quality food trucks on site.

Saturday — Festival Day

Morning coffee and a quick walk around Reus. Head to Castellvell del Camp in the afternoon — the venue is just 5 minutes by car or a 30-minute walk from Reus centre. No need to plan meals — quality food trucks are on site for lunch and dinner. Immerse yourself fully in the festival. Stay until the last band drops.

Sunday — Roman Morning

Sleep in, then drive 20 minutes to Tarragona for a morning among Roman ruins. Walk the ancient city walls, visit the amphitheatre overlooking the sea, and grab a long lunch in the city centre before heading to the airport or your onward journey.

The Extended Stay

Wednesday — Arrive & Explore Reus

Arrive with time to spare. Check in to your accommodation in Reus and spend the afternoon exploring the Gaudí Centre and the Modernisme quarter. End the day at the Museu del Vermut — Reus is the home of vermouth and this is the place to understand why.

Thursday — Priorat Wine Country

Drive 35 minutes into the hills to the Priorat wine region. Book a morning winery visit with tasting — producers like Celler de Capçanes or Mas Doix offer excellent tours. Have lunch in Falset (the region's main town), then return to Reus for a leisurely evening.

Friday — Tarragona, Cambrils & Evening Concerts

Morning in Tarragona: Roman amphitheatre, the ancient forum, and a walk along the archaeological promenade. After lunch, head 5 minutes down the coast to Cambrils — stroll the harbour and watch the fishing boats come in. Head back early enough to catch the evening concerts at Castellvell del Camp. Friday has a later start but there are bands on.

Saturday — Festival Day

This is what you came for. Head to Castellvell del Camp in the afternoon. No need to plan meals — quality food trucks are on site all day. Soak in every band, every riff, every moment. Stay until the last note fades.

Sunday — Montblanc & Depart

Before heading home, make a 30-minute detour to Montblanc — one of Catalonia's best-kept secrets. Walk the intact medieval walls, duck into the Gothic church of Santa Maria, and wander the narrow lanes of the old town. A perfect, unhurried farewell to the province.
