HIDEOUS DIVINITY

17 or 18 October

Genre
Technical Death Metal
Origin
Italy

Emerging from Rome’s brutal underground in 2007, Hideous Divinity has forged a name as one of Europe’s most relentless forces in technical death metal. Fusing sheer brutality with cinematic scope and conceptual ambition, the band has continually pushed the genre’s limits—both musically and thematically.

Their latest offering, "Unextinct" (Century Media, 2024), is more than an album: it’s a descent into chaos. A monstrous, evolving entity of sound and terror, Unextinct expands on the narrative first ignited in Simulacrum, with tracks like “Atto Quarto” continuing their dark conceptual voyage. Produced by Stefano "Saul" Morabito, the album blends blackened atmospheres, furious blastbeats, and precise, hellish riffage into an overwhelming sensory assault.

Having toured across the U.S. and Europe alongside legends like Vader, Hypocrisy, and Belphegor, and appearing at major festivals like Brutal Assault and 70000 Tons of Metal, Hideous Divinity has proven they’re not just studio beasts—they are an unstoppable force on stage.

At CastellHell 2025, expect nothing less than an all-consuming blacknical death metal ritual—where terror, intellect, and sonic violence converge. This is not just music. This is the sound of the unextinguished flame.
