The first confirmation for CastellHell 2026 is here, and it comes with a band that embodies the darkest and most devastating side of Death Metal: Dead Congregation.

Few bands dominate the stage with the authority of Dead Congregation. Their mastery lies in a devastating balance: the ability to alternate dense, oppressive rhythms with bursts of extreme intensity. When the tempo slows down, the atmosphere becomes suffocating; when they accelerate, their execution turns into pure demolition. Without a doubt, they stand as one of the defining forces behind the sound of modern Death Metal.

It is an honour to host one of the fiercest live acts in the genre as a the first announcement for CastellHell 2026. Their performance is a visceral experience, known for its technical precision and crushing intensity.
