WORMED

A sci-fi-themed, tech-heavy death metal unit from Spain, Wormed was founded in 1998 in Madrid, and wasted little time in inserting itself forcefully into the scene. The band issued a debut a mini-album, Floating Cadaver in the Monochrome, in 1999. A proper full-length outing, Planisphaerium, dropped in 2003, and garnered much acclaim in the underground and extreme metal communities. Wormed started touring internationally, but by 2006 they had begun to slow down, resulting in a period of inactivity that would last until the release of 2013's Exodromos.
