Los Guardianes del Pont (often abbreviated as LGP) is a prominent power trio from Catalonia, formed in 2011 by three former members of the legendary band Sangtraït: Quim Mandado (vocals/bass), Martín Rodríguez (drums), and Joan Cardoner (guitar/vocals). Their sound continues the legacy of classic Catalan hard rock and heavy metal, blending powerful melodies with lyrics in Catalan that often touch on epic and social themes.
Following the passing of drummer Martín Rodríguez in 2020, the band has continued as a duo (Mandado and Cardoner), often performing as Quim Mandado in a larger format, keeping the spirit of both LGP and Sangtraït alive for a new generation
